Trea Jensen – Artist – Healer – Musician
Trea Jensen is an energy healer and multidisciplinary artist creating through painting and singer/songwriting. She draws from the folklore and symbolism of her Scandinavian and Celtic heritage to invoke stories of nature, myth, and iconic female deities. In her visual art, Trea uses watercolour and acrylic paint to create vibrant images that tell stories of feminine strength and magic.
In music she brings her voice, guitar, Irish, Middle Eastern, and West African percussion into a harmony of folk music arrangements and original songs.
Trea’s work has travelled with two OSAC shows (Surreal Saskatchewan art on the move and Visions of Eastend under the living sky). Throughout her life she has led a community driven art practice that has seen her founding the Lantern Parade at the Calgary Folk Music Festival, coordinating the Water Valley Celtic Festival, and establishing the Artisans Guild of Eastend and Surrounding Area.
These days Trea works from her studio in Eastend SK, occasionally hosting intimate workshops focused on creativity and the divine feminine.
